Cookie Policy
Our cookie policy and how we use them
Effective date: 1 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how AI Search API (aisearchapi.dev), a service of Cancode, uses cookies and similar technologies on aisearchapi.dev. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We use them for a narrow set of purposes. Today, the Service sets only strictly necessary (essential) cookies, the ones required for the site and dashboard to function. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell data collected through cookies.
2. Essential cookies we use
These cookies are required and cannot be switched off in our site:
| Cookie | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Authentication / session | Keeps you signed in to your account and secures your session after you log in. |
| Theme preference | Remembers your light or dark theme choice. |
| Language / locale | Remembers your language preference for the interface. |
| Selected workspace | Remembers the last team workspace you were using so we can return you to it. |
Because these cookies are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested, they do not require consent under applicable law.
3. Analytics cookies
The Service does not currently set analytics or tracking cookies on the marketing site. If we enable an analytics provider (such as PostHog, listed as a subprocessor in our Privacy Policy) that sets cookies or similar identifiers, we will update this Policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set.
4. Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Because the cookies we use are essential, blocking them may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the dashboard.
5. Changes and contact
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use. Questions can be sent to legal@aisearchapi.dev.
