Every surface can be acquired three ways — our own browser fleet (own-fleet), a managed scraping vendor (managed-vendor), or the model’s own API (official-api). We are browser-first: auto prefers a real consumer-UI browser session — guest sessions today, with the authenticated account pool for login-walled surfaces on the roadmap — and never silently downgrades to the model API. This is the live v1 routing — phase-2 lanes are marked as such, not sold as live.
